Glen Richardson brings excellent experience in workers’ compensation and social security disability law to Bentoff & Duber, with more than thirty years of experience in these fields of law. He has litigated these matters at all levels including the Industrial Commission of Ohio, Ohio State Courts, Court of Appeals and United States District Courts.

Prior to coming to Bentoff & Duber more than 15 years ago, Glen had been employed by one of the largest workers’ compensation firms in Ohio. With his former employer, Glen handled thousands of workers’ compensation, social security disability and supplemental security income claims. Due to his outstanding results in helping injured and disabled individuals, Glen had also been selected by a former employer to start a branch of their Cleveland office in Youngstown. Glen got the firm’s new branch up and running and was instrumental in its immediate success.

Despite all of his new responsibilities in managing an office, Glen wanted to get back to his roots and focus more on giving his personal attention to helping the injured and disabled. In an effort to find a law firm with a great reputation for positive results for its clients, where despite the large numbers of clients, all of them get the personal attention they need, Glen found himself at Bentoff & Duber. Since his employment with Bentoff & Duber, Glen has been able to get back to his mission for going to law school, which is to focus 100% on helping those in need.

Glen was named to the Ohio Super Lawyers in 2012 and consecutively since 2015 to 2023. The acclaim recognizes Glen for his outstanding professional achievements.

Glen was also the recipient of Martindale Hubbell’s most prestigious AV rating, the highest rating that a lawyer can be awarded by his peers. He is admitted to practice in Ohio state courts, United States District Courts and the United States Supreme Court. Of his many accomplishments, he has taught Administrative Law at the Ohio Paralegal Institute, served as an adjunct professor at Indiana Wesleyan University and has been a speaker at various workers’ compensation seminars.

Glen received his undergraduate degree with honors from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana in 1976. As a student at Taylor, he was elected to serve on the Student Court and received the distinct honor of being selected in the “Who’s Who Among American Universities and Colleges.” Upon his graduation from Taylor, Glen attended the Cleveland Marshall College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1979.

Glen is married with two daughters and wonderful grandchildren. When he’s away from the office, Glen is in his workshop refinishing furniture, spending time outdoors riding his bike, cross country skiing or volunteering with his local church.
