One Man Dead and 4 Hurt After Drunk Driving Accident in Lakewood

A Thirty-five-year-old drunk driver was arrested when he plowed through a barricade on Clifton Boulevard yesterday afternoon.  The AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland was celebrating its annual Dancin’ in the Streets festival at the corner of Cliftonand West 117th when the incident occurred.

Timothy Spock, driver of a silver Scion, drove through the gate, injuring five party goers. One died later in the evening.  All the victims were taken toMetrohealthMedicalCenter.  Spock was arrested on charges of OVI, as well as other charges.  This will be Spock’s fourth drunk driving charge.
